Implementation of online monitoring stations to secure the Iasi (Romania) drinking water supply

Producing drinking water from river water is challenging. To deal with such a variable source, active management of water intake and production processes is required. Benten Water Solutions assists water utilities in gaining a better insight in their source water quality by developing suitable monitoring strategies that allow optimising of water abstraction and treatment processes. This paper describes a project which assisted Apavital Water Company in Ia?i, Romania, with the implementation of an intake management system.
